Totemo was commissioned to create the brand identity and packaging for a unique range of versatile gourmet vinaigrettes, formulated specially for use across a wide range of culinary applications.
The brand prides itself on using a carefully curated selection of natural oils in each of their products, which not only result in their incredible taste, but also assists the body in unlocking and absorbing beneficial phytonutrients that are present in many vegetables.
The brand was designed to appeal to a unique consumer group that values health and well–being in addition to being culinary aware. The product range presented a unique challenge in the fact that it defied existing and established product categories as a result of its diverse range of usages and applications (as a dipping oil, a salad dressing and as a key ingredient for use in poultry, meat and fish dishes amongst others). It was therefore imperative that the potential usages be communicated to uninitiated consumers quickly and effectively on shelf which resulted in the development of the unique product title; Dip, Dress & Drizzle.
The brand’s visual identity and packaging strike a perfect balance between refined sophistication and playful freshness, with a bold, colour-based identification system and a custom illustrated pattern ensuring excellent presence in-store and an abundance of memorable personality.
