Totemo was tasked with conceptualising and producing a digital campaign for Credit24 – An established European brand within the online personal loan sector which has recently launched into the Australian market. The objective of the campaign was to increase overall sales over the Summer holiday period by introducing new customers to the brand whilst simultaneously encouraging existing customers to further utilise Credit24’s services.
The campaign was developed around offering potential customers an incentive of no loan repayments and no interest accrual for 60 days. Totemo developed a fun and memorable Summer holiday themed narrative for the campaign in order to deliver what could otherwise easily be misinterpreted as a fairly “dry” financial message. The campaign focussed on communicating the offer’s potential benefit to the customer in the form of a relaxing holiday period, free from concerns around interets and repayments.
Totemo created a series of campaign-specific illustrated animations that are playful and fun in order to establish cut-through and create maximum impact throughout the network of websites where the campaign would be displayed. These bold and impactful visuals were paired with simple and concise copy treatments to engage viewers and encourage click-through.
The campaign was rolled out to include a large suite of animated HTML5 web banners for publication across the display network, as well as campaign-specific landing pages, EDMs and a social media asset library.
Based on it’s initial success, the campaign was extended to include a series of additional imagery and assets that were not exclusive to the summer holiday period, allowing the “Relax” message to transcend the season.
